if suffering isn't on your mind, you are a very selfish person. you are probably unaware or stupid enough not to know that without suffering, there is no hope, there is no happiness for other people. there will never be world peace, there are no in-betweens. compromise is hard to come by, the weak die, the strong survive. they profit and grow, leaving the others in the dust. it will always be this way.

Just because some people realize that life is not always beautiful and sunshine and rainbows doesn't mean we laugh at pictures of people starving. I mean, is it not ironic that you even mention starving people while insulting those who realize that there are people starving and dying and suffering and recognize this as contrived happy-go-lucky, unimaginative crap. Don't get me wrong, I try to look at the positive side of things most of the time, but this, it's just unimaginative. I've seen it before and I'm sure I'll see it again. I can't wrap my head around all of the hypocrisy in your post, short as it may be.
So why would you bother spending time to come out of your perfect existence to critique peoples comments? I do it because I hope I can reach out and show you that people have different views from yours and won't always agree with you. I see a shallow picture dump. You see something inspiring. Neither of us are bad people for it. I'm hope neither of us laugh at pictures of people suffering. Open your mind.

the pictures simply convey the message. whether or not they are photoshopped is unrelated.

that being said. unphotoshopped pictures could still convey the messages as well. these just look a tad better perhaps.

either way. thumbs up. if you don't enjoy it, don't "like it"....

1. how is a butterfly landing on a girl's shoulder "feeling"? she's not reacting, and I dont think she will be reacting any time soon.

2. how is a girl holding an umbrella with both hands in the middle of the woods, without the slightest hint of rain "happiness"? more like "calm before the storm!"

3. yes, joy is definitely prancing around an extremely clean beach using awkward movements. very realistic.

4. how is beauty an airbrushed model covered in rose petals? also very realistic.

5. the photo under love looks kind of sad. it looks like the woman is slipping away. for what reason?

6. life is unity? if that was the actual definition of life, I would be shitting bricks. nice cheesy photo. seeing as it is probably a stock image or something of the like, I doubt the people in that photo even know each other.

7. life is care? life is watching your baby get snatched right off your back because you are probably being too carefree to be aware that the baby is about to chew on the wires to your headphones and dip it in a bucket of seawater.

8. what about the other rocks in the photo under "faith"? life is "believe" too, isn't it?!

9. if life is freedom then why does fear have to be erased daily, as shown on the board? remember, life is also fear, and faith contradicts everything depending on what religions and beliefs you support. do you fear god and have faith in him? hello, paradox!

10. life is not peace. life is everything that we encounter every day, and for most of the people here, life does not include laying in between valleys and sleeping in the middle of nowhere.

11. life may be creation, but guess what? we do not directly create the clouds in the sky, especially in bed. the guy in the photo looks like he is petting a loosened cotton ball.

12. if life is fantasy, and fantasy means blowing fucking bubbles while you have fake flowers in your hair, then you must be DREAMING. (lo and behold, I am RIGHT... see #14)

These pictures are bland and mostly meaningless, along with their captions. The thing that makes life worthwhile is the contrast, the paradoxes within it. Beauty should be interesting, not photoshopped. Faith means thinking something for no reason; it should be replaced with logic. Rest is only appreciated after toil. Splendor corrupts. What we should really be concentrating on is not being complacent and telling ourselves that everything is the way it should be. We should concentrate on improving our surroundings, challenging ourselves by meeting people different from us (not just young, thin people in these photos), accepting criticism with grace and really changing.
